What wall plates does Pixie fit into?
Pixie smart dimmers, switches, and timer modules are a standard mechanism size, designed in Sydney specifically for Australian wall plates and standard Australian wiring. A better question is what they don’t fit into. As part of the free design process, let us know your chosen plates and we’ll confirm fitment.
What happens if my Wi-Fi or internet goes down?
Pixie runs on Bluetooth Mesh, so all your devices keep talking to each other regardless of your internet or Wi-Fi status. Voice control won’t work until your connection returns, but your app works unhindered inside the home. And because Pixie fits standard wall plates, you always have manual control right at the wall.
Do my schedules still work if I'm not home?
Yes. Once your schedules are set up, they run on their own. No phone needed, no internet needed, no you needed.
What information do you collect about me and my home?
We don’t collect any data. Pixie Plus users nominate an email address to create an account but that’s it. No individually identifiable information beyond your email address, ever.
Can Pixie control my ceiling fan?
Yes, and in a few different ways. You can use a Pixie switch to power a DC fan, use a Pixie module inside a huge range of Hunter Pacific International DC fans for full 9-speed control plus light level and colour on light-enabled models, or control AC fans from any manufacturer with 3-speed control.
Does Pixie work with my air conditioning?
Yes. Pixie ClimatiQ integrates with Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric systems, which cover around 60% of Australian homes, giving you full smart control from the app.
